sup gentlemen

So life has been been pretty ok lately. Grandma is still in her pre dementia state and it sucks sometimes but life keeps on going. I finally got a job, which is good. I'm working at Ikea as a cashier, in emeryville. It's a standard cashiering job, but what makes it different is that they train you so well there. i like it. Also so far every coworker i've met is super friendly and awesome. like my second day there, everyone knew my name.
My birthday was october tenth and i had a lil dinner at Alameda Sushi House with like 5 people. Then we headed out to Albany to hit up Club Mallard, which is actually more of a bar than a club. More people came to that, roughly 10-12 which was nice. i had a couple beers bought for me. I got to watch Aaron belligerently make a fool of himself which was amusing. i'll spare the details, just know it was hilarious. I ended up going to la pinata with Eric and Arvin afterward and we ate and then went our separate ways.
Lately i've been staying home a lot, if im not working. Which is boring sometimes but what can you do? I've also been hanging out a lot with only a few people. Not really for any other reason than they're the ones who hit me up. They've also become my closest friends. I appreciate good friends. Thanks guys. Speaking of good friends, Stephen was in town for a few days and he and I got some beers and played board games one of the nights he was here. The next day we had an early lunch before i had to go to work. That was all i got to see of him but it was definitely good to see him. I missed that guy.
Sometime last month i went to a yelp elite event with my friend vikki it was awesome it was called "Off like a prom dress!" and it was on the Hornblower the dining yacht in berkeley the reception prior was at the double tree. there was free foods and cocktails and stuff it was pretty awesome.
i noticed i always keep my paragraphs kinda short. go me. The other day my friend Arielle asked me to go with her to a wedding as her date, and to bring my camera as back up. i posted pics a bit ago. but yeah it was fun to hang out at the presidio with her. i danced a bit with my lack of skills and it was awesome. ummmm whatelse.
The wood in Baxter's cage started to crack and swell due to all the moisture so i had to buy an all glass one. This presented a problem because i have that big humidifier and the power strip that runs everything, and i cant sit them on top of the cage like i did with the wood one cuz this one has a screen top and i'm afraid theyd fall through the screen so i ended up throwing the strip on the floor and putting the humidifier on the corners of the cage walls. the other day i bought a wall shelf to put the humidifier on. it turned out alright. but yeah ill end this entry with some pics
